Election of the Deputy Delegate

Post by Grand Duke Henry on Sat May 31, 2008 2:27 pm

Although in future the Deputy World Assembly Delegate will be elected on the same campaign 'ticket' as the World Assembly Delegate (as in the USA with President and Vice President), for the first ever Deputy Delegate we are holding a separate election.

Rules for the Deputy Delegate
1. A Statesman/State may be Deputy WA Delegate for no more than three consecutive terms.

2. The Deputy WA Delegate may not hold any other Cabinet positions unless as a placeholder (locum tenens).

3. Although ceremonial Chairman of all Cabinet Subcommittees, the Deputy WA Delegate may not take an active part in formulating subcommittee legislation.

4. Should the WA Delegate be indisposed, ill, or absent, then the Deputy WA Delegate will stand in for him as Delegate.

All candidates for this post (from now until 17 June) must first declare their desire to run below.
