Terms in Office as WA Delegate

Post by Grand Duke Henry on Tue Apr 22, 2008 9:50 pm

The Grand Council is hushed as Charles Wenzel von Mettenburg, Chancellor of Ravenburg-Morovia, enters, flanked by the Ravenburger Prime Minister Kaunitz and the Morovian Prime Minister Vogt. Mettenburg mounts the dais with purposeful steps, and reaches the dispatch box.

"My Government proposes two clauses to the World Assembly Constitution decided upon at the Foundation Ceremony of this grand deliberative body. First: that each term in office as WA Delegate should consist of one month and one day from the point of the state's ascendancy to this hallowed post. Second: that the incumbent WA Delegate should be able to call a Snap General Election at any time during his incumbency and that, should the snap election be won, the state should act as Delegate for the designated term of office from the point of the snap election."

"Yay I do agree yet it shall be so that the delegate may run two terms in a row but after must step down, however they may stand for election at the election after that. This is now the law!" He bangs his ceremonial scepter and their is no more discussion on the matter.
